Map for the event!

A new addition to the Christmas Open Studios are the Drill hall based Clarsach Society. The Clarsach Society exists to promote the clarsach and its music in Soctland and the wider harp community. They are the go-to organisation for anything harp related.

This December, as the Drill Hall on Dalmeny Street open its doors for its regular Arts Market, a number of studio residents will be opening their doors too, for the annual Christmas Drill Hall Open Studios. The Open Studios will take place on Saturday 1st December 2012, from 11am to 5pm. 
The participating studios will be clearly signposted, and you'll receive a warm welcome, with a mince pie if you're lucky!
Here's a brief descriptive list of the artists and makers taking part so far.

Blue Marmalade - Eco-friendly gifts, stationery and products for the home.
Mairi Brown - Sumptuous garments, accessories & soft furnishings, created using free machine embroidery.
Carla Edwards - Contemporary resin jewellery inspired by the natural world, pattern, colour and drawing.
Katherine Emtage - Design led handbags, accessories and homewares in Harris and other Scottish tweeds.
Julie Fletcher - Lovingly created character led illustrations, prints and painted pebbles.
Mairi MacSween - Quirky and fun handmade cards, prints and key rings incorporating photography and illustration.
Polly Thelwall - Beautifully detailed watercolours, illustrations and prints.
The Precious Metals Workshop - Jewellery collections by various artists based in the Precious Metals Workshop, including Ian Nicholson.
